- Support network operations by performing basic network troubleshooting.
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist users in troubleshooting issues with applications, operating systems, and connectivity.
- Document solutions to recurring issues and maintain IT support logs.
- Follow security protocols to protect network systems from unauthorized access.
- Manage access permissions, group memberships, and licensing assignments for users.
- Reset user passwords and assist with account lockouts.
- Set up email accounts in Exchange Online, and manage mailboxes.
- Configure distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and email forwarding.
- Troubleshoot basic email-related issues like access, connectivity, and spam filtering.
- Create and manage Teams channels, user roles, and permissions.
- Support users in setting up meetings, configuring audio/video, and troubleshooting access issues.
- Install and update Office 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) on user devices.
- Provide support for Office app functionality, resolving common issues, and troubleshooting crashes or slow performance.
- Maintain documentation for common troubleshooting steps and Office 365 policies.
- Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all laptops and related peripherals.
- Tag and label new laptops, update inventory records, and track equipment across departments.
- Conduct periodic audits of laptop assets and ensure inventory data is current.
- Set up and configure laptops for new hires, including installing operating systems, necessary software, and security settings.
- Apply company-specific configurations and security protocols on laptops.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
- Assist in identifying laptops requiring repair or replacement and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
- Document the assignment, return, and condition of laptops, keeping detailed records for asset tracking.
- Install and maintain antivirus software, encryption, and other security measures on all laptops.
- Participate in the regular updates and maintenance of antivirus software and patches.
- Work under the guidance of senior team members to gain a strong understanding of system administration.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance IT skills.
