Job Description
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 5 years in automotive firmware
- Strong understanding of embedded Linux architecture and development
- Proven experience with automotive protocols including CAN and UDS
- Deep knowledge of ECU architecture and integration
- Experience with MQTT protocol implementation in embedded systems
- Expertise in designing and implementing secure OTA update solutions
- Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity principles
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration practices
Technical Skills - Real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- CAN protocol and automotive networking
- UDS protocol implementation
- MQTT protocol and IoT connectivity
- C/C++ programming
- Bootloader development
- Secure OTA update mechanisms
- Hardware abstraction layer design
- Automotive diagnostic protocols
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with AUTOSAR architecture
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434)
- Experience with Vector CANoe or similar automotive diagnostic tools
- Background in MISRA C/C++ guidelines
